Developing New Strategies
Evaluation and treatment recommendation of speech disorders, language disabilities, and hearing loss, provided in Spanish or English.
Licensed professionals help children and adults improve or restore physical function following disease, injury or loss of a body part through a comprehensive rehabilitation program.
Helps to re-learn and carry out activities of daily living in areas of eating, personal hygiene, dressing, mechanics of communication and homemaking.

Fully Equipped Gym
A well-equipped Gym and treatment area are utilized to help teach the use of artificial devices; develop better coordination and range of motion; re-learn to walk, build strength and endurance, and regain self-confidence.
Vector Gait and Safety Robotic Systems
Designed to improve treatment efficiency and provides a safe, algorithm-driven support system that allows patients to regain mobility by unloading a precise amount of body weight; so they can safely and confidently perform rehabilitative exercises without fearing falling or experiencing pain, further trauma or bodily harm.
Anti-Gravity Treadmill
Improves walking, balance, and endurance, all with support from the air pressure within the chamber.
Infrared Light Therapy
Helps reduce inflammation and promote healing to relieve pain.
Mechanical Traction
Reduces pain caused by nerve impingement or muscle spasms in the neck or low back, or spinal areas.
Our experienced, certified, and dedicated staff are ready!
The Center invites specialists (UTHEALTH SCIENCE CENTER) to offer monthly clinics for patients needing consulting with a pediatric orthopedic and spinal deformities specialist. Clinics are FREE to the public – with a $5.00 processing fee.
The Center is affiliated with several higher education institutions and provides clinical training opportunities for students enrolled in physical therapy assistant, occupational therapy assistant, physician assistant, rehab tech, billing/coding, medical office assistant, social work program, and more.
The Center has 3 fully equipped specialized vans with lifts, safety belts, and other safeguards necessary to comply with government regulations. Drivers and attending staff are trained in the skills of transferring patients.
